At Snapdragon Studio we create stylish flowers for special events.  We love weddings, and we specialize in modern hand-tied bouquets and fresh-cut style arrangements. Your wedding flowers should be an expression of your personality! It is our goal is to create gorgeous  bouquets and arrangements that capture your personal style. We are located in central Vancouver, WA, and we work throughout the Clark County and Portland region.

My name is Jennifer Fish, and I am the owner/designer of Snapdragon Studio. I’ve been designing wedding flowers since 1999. It started when my college roommate decided we were going to make her wedding bouquets… even though neither of us had ever made a wedding bouquet. Ever before. Crazy, right?! We had a blast (and the flowers were gorgeous – if I do say so myself), and I haven’t stopped having fun yet. For years I did flowers for my girlfriends or people at church, then slowly I started getting referrals and doing more and more weddings. After losing my corporate marketing job in November, 2008, my husband gently pushed and prodded me to {finally} do this “for real”. I opened the doors to Snapdragon Studio in January, 2009.

I simply love to create. I’m not a formally trained florist, although I have a bachelor’s degree in graphic design and have been working in the creative field for over 20 years. {GASP… can I be that old?} I have 12 years experience with wedding flowers, most of it “on the job” training. In addition to floral design, I love to work with paper arts (card making, scrapbooking, collage, etc.) and just about any other artsy-craftsy kind of endeavor. I am a published designer, with books on jewelry making, home decorating, paper crafts, card making, and fountain making.

I am the lone girl in a house of boys. My sons Theo and Porter are the loves of my life, along with my husband and best friend Joel. I am a very blessed woman… I get to do something I absolutely love, while still being able to stay home with my boys.
